Risk Level for Extracurricular Activity (Kyutech’s policy)Updated on 13 Jan

Kyutech has organized a University policy on 5 phases of risk levels and measures to take when holding extracurricular activities in order to prevent infection.

Level 3: Strict Caution

The risk level: "Level 3 (Strict Caution)” from 4 January 2021

How to restart extracurricular activity

The activity groups are required to follow the guideline of the associations and leagues which each group belongs to, and check the facility, equipment and tools, and then submit the Restart Plan of Extracurricular Activity to the student section of each campus. The University checks the plan and the groups which take adequate preventive measures are allowed to restart the activity in accordance with the Risk Level.

Training camps, away games/matches, concerts and other events

【Under Level 2 (Caution) or lower】

To hold training camps, away games and matches, concerts and other events, the organizers (activity groups) are required to submit an implementation plan to Student Section of each campus. The University (University doctor and Student Section) checks the plan and Dean gives permission.

Request to refrain from events with unavoidable close contacts

About the events with unavoidable close contacts such as gatherings and parties (especially the events which includes eating and drinking), the University extends the period of the request to cancel or postpone such events until the end of January in principle.
We are seeing that clusters are occurring among participants of parties held as part of extracurricular activities and house parties. Please be cautious and responsible for your actions.

Clubs and teams at Kyutech

There are various clubs and teams at Kyutech and it is recommended for freshmen to take a look at the list below. It is not prohibited to contact online with each other even before the clubs and teams restart their activities. Consider joining the clubs and teams and enjoy extracurricular activities after the restart.
