From October 31st to November 6th in 2016, a total of 15 students from Department of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) visited Kyutech for a short-term student exchange program (“Look East Mobility Program").
UPM students went on a one-day lab tour to the Department of Applied Chemistry at Kyutech. They participated in an experiment of organic synthetic chemistry, received a lecture of physical chemistry, and visited a total of nine labs, and thereby learned about research activities and facilities at Kyutech. UPM students also went on a factory tour, after conducting a workshop style preparation study with Kyutech students, to know sustainability efforts in Japan.
